  1. Vinyl release of this amazing compilation, on a 2xLP set! There has long been a link between country music and soul. Ray Charles was the first to exploit it, but well-told stories of love, lust or deception have been the staple diet of performers as different as Etta James and Tammy Wynette since the s.5/5(7).
  2. Comprehensive collection of Reggae hits from the vaults of Trojan Records. Featuring The Skatalites 'Guns Of Navarone', Roland Alphonso 'Phoenix City', The Techniques 'Oh Ba-a-by', Alton Ellis 'Rock Steady', The Maytals 'Do The Reggae', Marlene Webber 'Stand By Your Man', Tony Tribe 'Red Red Wine', Jimmy Cliff 'Miss Jamaica', U-Roy 'Version Galore', Big Youth 'Screaming Target', Dennis.

  6. It was released as the third and final single from their third studio album, London Calling (). The song was not originally listed on the album's track listing, appearing as a hidden track at the end of the album. This was because the track was added to the record at the last minute, when the sleeve was already in production.
  7. Read the story in Tammy's autobiography, "Stand By Your Man". It's hilarious. There's covers of Donna Fargo's "Funny Face", which is a better fit for Fargo. "One of These Days" which Emmylou Harris had out at the time and interestingly, Emmylou heard it first on George Jones' first Epic lp. Tammy is 5/5(3).
